Why did you get involved in roller derby?: I wanted to something challenging and new.

How has roller derby changed your life?: It showed that I am capable of anything.

Why did you choose your derby name?: Valkyries are female warriors in Norse Mythology. I feel that I have had some tough battles in my life and this name was a good fit for my life and my personality.
