Why did you get involved in roller derby?: Moved to the area and wanted to make friends.
What skates do you use?: Antiks with Arius plates, Jupiter toe-stops, and 99 wheels.
How has roller derby changed your life?: It has given me confidence, strength, and a community of supportive women as friends.
Why did you choose your derby name?: I really love Taylor Swift because I think she is a great role model for women, she is a leader and she is strong but she does it in a way
that is calm and respectful. She handles the spotlight with maturity and tries her best to be someone women can look up to. She fights for what she believes in. She doesn’t take things too seriously and she knows how to laugh and have fun.
Day job?: Optometrist
What is your favorite part of roller derby?: Women supporting women, positive outlet, badassery, and getting a good workout!
Do you have any bout day routines or superstitions?: Healthy eating and bout day playlist.
Final thoughts?: Life is better on skates.
